Islamorada weddings are unparallelled for the beautiful locations, colorful scenery, and delightful people you end up working with. Ashley and Nathan couldn't have asked for a better day. The weather was perfect and the skies were blue and clear.
We started the day off with preparation photos of the girls. After a we created a caravan of vehicles to transport the wedding party, we headed to a vacation rental managed by
Island Villa Properties, who had kindly arranged to let us borrow the stunning beach for the couple's first look. This is not a public location, so it was great giving them photos that no one else has! Our next stop was Beach Road near
The Moorings. (You may recognize it from the Netflix series, "Bloodline").
When we got back to
Coconut Cove Resort for the ceremony, the
Nautilimo picked up the guys for a unique entrance to the wedding. The rest of the day went great with lots of opportunities for amazing images and memories. My personal favorite was the backlit waterfall image, which would later be accepted by international
photography speaker Scott Robert Lim to be critiqued live on his wedding photography show hosted by CreativeLive.
The night closed out with a bang - literally - with fireworks set off over the harbor, and many well wishes by family and friends.
